Maher Zain & Reading...

Ouchh...what a bad luck today. I fell on my knee. It hurts...really. Not sure what happened exactly. I guess I took a wrong step on my way during walking Lil Farihin to kindergarten. Luckily hubby's the one who hold Firas. Otherwise, I can't imagine how worst it could be.

What to tell about? Maher Zain? I love his songs. Though I can only name few of them. But what I love most about him is how he brought music spiritually full with message. Also, an innovative arrangement that combined r&b, pop and Arabic music. Nice to listen to. Am not really a die hard fan of Maher Zain but to be honest, this guy is really opening wide interest from public to his own music. Malaysia particularly is having huge crowd of his fans. His debut - Thank You Allah is a major breakthrough success that reached no 1 spot in Amazon.com World Music Chat (credit: wikipedia). Maher Zain will be performing his concert @ Stadium Malawati, Shah Alam in February. I took this chance to witness the Lebanese Origin myself on 26th Feb with hubby. We're not really into concert/show thingy, but this time I need to take different approach with our quality time together. And tadaa...I already bought the tix. Yaay!!

So, February... I'm gonna have a date with Mr Husband. Can't wait!

Oh well, I went to Alamanda yesterday. Another excuse to spend a public holiday outside. Usually, we go to Alamanda during weekdays after Maghrib. If the journey takes about 20 minutes or less from home, we only have around 1 hour for dinner @ window shopping. Such a short time. So, again we take chance to go on a daylight, after Zuhur to be specific. I bet there would be one-to-one fight for parking spot and I was true all the way. It's a weekday off remember? We managed to get a parking but end up waiting around 10 minutes because the pakcik driver forgot to pay his parking ticket. Don't worry, we maintained our sweet smile for we know, if we left ~ it would cost us another wasted minutes.

One thing about being in a complex with either MPH @ Popular bookstore, I failed almost every time not to enter it. At least, to buy books. Or a book. Hehehe.. singular means a lot than plural to my husband's point of view. Because they also differentiate on how many RM you spend for a book rather than books. Don't worry about that. All on my burden for having this hobby; reading. I have bought 3 books previously. They were all romance of course, in Malay. So this time, I chose pieces from Nicholas Spark & Sophie Kinsella. Reason being, Safe Heaven from Spark has just released as well as Mini Shopaholic from Kinsella. As these books are newly out, I know they won't frustrate me. Their way of putting imagination into words are definitely either burst me into tears or laughter. I just don't know when I'm going to start into it. I hope very soon. =)

Hmm...there's Maher Zain in Feb & those books for brain enjoyment anytime. I love my life!

By the way, Firas has already started with solid food. I put one spoon to mix with the bottle instead of feeding him. He seems ok and I can see that clearly.

Next time, next post ok. Bye.
