New Ship Is Already Sailing

See, I told you before. I put better words in Engrisshh no matter how broken it is. :-)

I have moved! To the new house I mentioned previously in my post. We got into this new ship on 1st October and now we're into 2 weeks of sailing. The captain and sailors are all the same only the ship is better. And I love my new house totally! Who don't if it's your very own house? See, one of my junior sailors is still on the verge of understanding what the heck we're all doing there.

I don't do so much with my new house. Only buying new furniture just to fill those empty space. Ahhh.. what a brilliant excuse to spend your money. Those brownish curtain, I bought it few months back. It never cross my mind what theme we're gonna choose. But, brown @ earth color is picked just to be on the safe side. On my part, I think it's pretty match. Ohh...the red basket? It's just a coincidence. Not in my plan.

 The floor is broken marble as it's already nice for my point of view. I just need rugs on top of that. Few weeks before, I draft two theme for furniture-wise. One is red,white & black. The other was grey-white. I loved the grey-white more but turned out the theme was over-budget so we decided to go for red-white-black. Pretty-well for amateur like us! Please don't compare us with Eric Leong. Forgive me for this pic. I don't blame the lil cutie pie. Just the pink bag and diapers bag tagged in the pic. They are flaws.

Spot the white wall cabinet? The previous owner left for us. We didnt' have any idea on what to put inside the cabinet. End up, we put all our belongings like spectacles, keys, watch, bangle inside. Hahaha... shame on us. And next to the sliding door is my wall-shelve from Ikea that I love most! They also have in red and white but those colors are sold out. No stock. Luckily, we picked the right color. Black is always match with anything. All books on the shelf, they're mostly mine. You want to borrow? Over my dead body first. Hahaha... We bought the painting above the sofabed few years back. It's quite sentimental value and yet cheaper.

Tadaaa...the dining hall. Simple maa... The dining set only costs us around RM315 altogether. The rug also from Ikea. I don't want the set on bare floor. So, this rug is just nice. And don't forget cheap!

My lovely kitchen is just the same. Only that, the top were filled with my stuff. Newbies are Panasonic flusk from Tesco and wine rack which I bought also at Ikea. The first day we moved, our old flusk gone kaput. Shit....out of many days, it wanted to kaput on our moving day. Having a baby who drink formulated drink, you need to always have hot/warm water. So, the Panasonic one cost me a RM169 only for 3 liters capacity. Expensive huh? But the good part is, the charcoal wall inside the flusk definitely worth buying. My tea and coffee are tastier than before. And some more, you can clean the flusk by pressing the cleaning button for 3 seconds. I haven't tried it yet because it's still new and clean! As for wine rack, I fell in love with it for an excuse to stock up my warm water in bottles. They look nice on the top...You can buy one. It's only RM49.

The most expensive one we bought from Ikea is this Klippan two-seater sofa in Granan Red. Actually, 3 medium size person can seat on this sofa which made me proud to get this one. At first, I crazily wanted to buy the polka-dot (red-white) also from Klippan, but as it new in store, it's much expensive than this one. But, it's ok I'm happy. I like simplicity and this pic define me.

I haven't have pictures of upper-floor. They are just bedrooms and all that. Nothing much to show. Floors are all timber-flooring and I don't have to add up anything. Probably later on when we have enough budget, I'll look into PAX-system for wardrobe from Ikea as well as bedroom set for our kiddos. :-D

I'm more happier than before!

New Role

Hectic! Itu saja yg boleh aku describe pasal 2-3 bulan kebelakangan ini. Eh tetiba post BM. Ok gak sbb skrg tengah mood raya. Takde selera nak berbahasa Inggrishh... Penat wei balik kg beraya wpun seronok sakan. 3-4 jam jugak perjalanan dengan kereta yg tak berapa nak vroomm..lgpun husband aku ni x brp suka memandu laju. bahaya katanya. betul tu...biarlah berhemah! asal selamat! Kami gerak dr Melawati ari sabtu malam pkl 11, sampai di Penang 4 pagi. Syukur perjalanan lancar. Takde tersengguk2. Cuma aku je yg kot yg sengguk menahan kemengantukan. Biarlah cik abe yg mjlankan kewajipan memandu.

Sbnrnya post aku selain nak bcerita pasal hari raya, aku jgk nak mengomel pasal jawatan baru aku. Bila bos2 wat keputusan nak bukak francais Tutti Frutti (TF) pada bln Mei 2011, mmg nama aku disebut2 gak utk jadi PIC bakal kedai TF tu. Disebabkan TF ni la, ofis kami pun akan berpindah ke Cheras. then bila renovation dah start, bos sound you kena jaga nanti kedai ni Fiza. Aku  memula cam terkujat gak. Erkk? biar betik... aku mmg zero experience bab2 retail shop ni. Ada la sket2 ilmu tp bukan secara langsung. Kira cabaran gak ni. Aku ingat bos main2 tp sbnrnya mmg betul. Dup dap dup dap jantung memikio tentang tanggungjawab. Bkn apa, bos ada retail shop sebelum ni. And manager shop tu pun kira kenal2 gak. background engineer tapi quite hampes gak wat keje. So, kalau boleh aku tak nak lah jadi macam tu. Malu wei... Insya Allah akan ku cuba menjalankan tanggungjawab yg diamanahkan dgn sebaik2nya. Aminn...

By the time aku tulis post ni pun dah bulan 10. Ngeh ngeh ngeh...dah hampir 3 bulan lebih TF beroperasi. Tgk pada prestasi, mmg fenomena betul. Aku sendiri pun mcm addicted tp sonok wei sebab staff ada everyday meal. Yumyum...sampai kadang2 tak lalu nak makan. :-D Overall, mmg aku rasa ok kot boss pun takde komplen sgt. Everything is under control. Krew pun nasib baik dpt yg ok. Ada flaws sikit2 here and there pun xper, as long as diorang loyal and boleh buat keje. Dah cukup baik la tu! Aku pun dah tak byk sgt turun2 since tgk bebudak tu dah boleh run sendiri. In term of cash monitoring and other than that, boleh nampak mcm takde masalah. Short sket2 2-3 hengget tu aku suruh je dorang topupkan. Jangan tidak jer... TF ni pun dah ada byk regulars. Aku pun ada kenal few yg selalu datang. In fact, bila ada hal jer bebudak ni soh refer manager. Adehhh....manager la sgt. Kui kui kui...and biasanya ada issue2 kecik ni aku suroh dorang handle jer. Cuma isu yg besar sket yg melibatkan decision making mmg aku take over la. Alhamdulilah so far mmg tak de komplen dr pihak customers. In fact, ada yg puas hati dgn tekstur yogurt kami. Sbb aku pun bgtau krew ikut resipi je, jangan memandai ubah. Aku dah malas nak rasa2 dah sbb diorang pun mmg ikut resipi asal. So oklah...

Lagipun other than being in manager role, aku byk lagi benda nak buat kat office. Multitasker la katakan... Admin/secretarial stuff still aku manage.. Nak update/report sale/mesyuarat & minitnya/surat2/ lesen2 perniagaan dan segala mak nenek lesen/AP semua aku buat. kekadang aku jugak merangkap receptionist kalau dia cuti. Oklah...one of PABX phone mmg ada kat tempat aku. So no worry setakat nak tekan butang kecik and buat suara gediks menjawab telefon. Ahakss...bukan perasan tp suara ku mmg ada yg puji sedap! Belum tengok orgnya lagi...huahuahua.  Cuma tang nak buat pintu aku kena berlari2 anak sket. mcm exercise la kira tp tak kurus2 jugak. Hampeh betoi! Kalau korang tgk meja aku humang aih bersepah mcm workloads dah dapat untuk upfront 10 years punya. Wakaka...sbnrnya aku mmg jenis bekerja bersepah meja. Sbb aku tau mcm mana aku keja so kalau ada org ubah, mmg nak kena la! Carik nahas...tp ada jugak time yg bila kemas, perghhh...cleaner pun takut tgk meja aku! And tahun ni mmg gempak sebab personal stuff mcm lotion, perfume, bedak bayi, deodorant, krim tumit pecah2 pun aku stock up atas meja. Siap ada tabung siling lagi. Hebat2...tp aku jarang capai pun benda2 tu. Konon nak menjaga kulit dan penampilan. Cettt...tak sempat pun. Aku lebih byk mencapai pen, stapler, kertas2 kerja dan telefon atas meja. Paling byk jari aku digunakan atas keyboard la. Facebook, email, blog...muahaha. Eh takdelah, aku bukan peminat tegar FB wpun aku rajin update. FB org lain aku jarang tengok. Yg mana rapat2 jer...kadang2 boring gak FB ni. Mcm tu je...cuma mark zukeberg tu sekali2 tuko setting la, appearance la. layan je la kan...dulu aku rajin layan games segala2 ville. Farmville, citiville, ntah ape2 lagi...skrg sorrylah buang masa aku je! Benda tu leh wat org addicted sbb mcm tak puas2 nak upgrade prestasi dorang. Penat wei nak racing ngan org lain. Buat pagar la, beli ayam la, beli bangunan la! Tak kuasa aku nak layan...

Ni pun sebenarnya ada benda nak buat. 2 minit mesuarat menanti utk ditaip. Friday ni nak meeting, br terhegeh2 nak buat minit yg lepas. Padahal aritu meeting awal bulan 9. Tak sempat beb..ingat senang ke nak wat minit ni. Kena feeling dan ada ilham baru impressive. Kekeke...alasan ye dak. Oklah biarlah aku menyudahkan minit aku, nanti aku sambung lagi. Mana tau, pas ni post Engrisshh balik!
