On Life Changing

I've turned my life, my family life to another extent when I decided to move to where I live now. From quite a remote area, we have evolved into more friendly neighborhood where daily supplies are accessible yet very near to you. I won't feel guilty if I can tell flaws that we faced during our time at Rawang.

It's an apartment. There's nothing wrong with a 5-storey building that everybody calls home. I love my apartment at Bandar Tasik Puteri. It's our first property ever so to speak. Actually, it's my hubby. But, I guess I'm allowed to take part as co-owner. After my contract was over with Siemens, we couldn't afford to pay rental and at the same time monthly installment for the apartment itself. It was my idea to move. We have good neighbors around. The population was countable by fingers as too many homes were left abandoned for various reasons. It was so quiet there when night appears. As a temporary housewife, taking care 2 months old son alone with only few people around your neighborhood was very challenging. Hubby's workplace was at Shah Alam and it took him an hour or two to either reach office or home. I felt like ages waiting my hero to come back to our embrace. Farihin was filled with so much love and care I could provide 24 hours. I watched him grow with my own eyes until I finally recruited by a construction company at Puchong.

Yes, it was Rawang-Puchong-Shah Alam. Most of our friends said we're crazy to be part of the long-journey-like-hell to our workplace. And guess what? We rode. A 1996 Kriss (if i'm not mistaken). We seriously broke our pocket if we travel by car. So many things happened during the process. Getting summon from the police for not using motorcycle lane. Flat tyre was countless. Nearly got into an accident. Soaked in a damn heavy rain. But, we survived. Syukur Alhamdulillah for the bless we have been granted. Then, we travel back by car after it's installed with NGV. We invested in big amount, but we saved a lot. We tried every and each routes that can help us save toll cost. Even though it means waking up as early as 5.30am. We started at dusk and returned at dawn. There were times when I burst my tears on the corner of my own desk at office, thinking of my lil boy. I didn't get to see him for almost 13 hours a day. Because we need to work to live.

The special thing about living in BTP is after you've been burdened with those workloads in office, compulsory traffic jam around KL, is quietness. It's like you're at your most peaceful world. It's the best part. But, you surely need to travel very far for Tesco or Carrefour. Let alone big shopping complex like Jusco or Parkson. The neareast you have for groceries grab is almost 10-15 kilos. I guess. Still, BTP has mini markets @ Kedai Aceh. You can buy as much as supplies to stock up kitchen but when you park your car. Heads up and knowing how many steps you need to climb, things always end up with fighting. Hehehe...pathetic isn't?

Now, after 3 years living high sky we are so grateful to get a house for rental. Moving to Kajang is absolutely the hardest yet very right decision I've ever made. I was given only a week to find a rental house, packing up, hiring a mover, looking for babysitter/nursery and so on. ONE WEEK. But, Allah SWT showed me the way. Smooth one. The best thing, personally to me after 1 month we moved, I was pregnant. Good things happened one after another. But, the endless happiness He granted to me made me pay with my tears. He took my father away. I accepted the fitrah and I accepted that I am now fatherless. And Allah SWT is Powerful toward Everything.

I am very convenient now with the way I live. Facilities like school, shop, market, gas station and etch are easy within my reach. I actually left out my office. Distance only 300 metres from my house. It's true. When you have so much comfort, you may resist to go over the edge for you worry the comfort you enjoy will not last. It happens to me as I speak. It is the reason that drag me and husband to seek our own house in this particular area. We finally found our home. In Kajang. Instead of living near northern previously, I noticed that we actually very much headed toward southern area. What can I say, God has plan for all of us. For now, I love everything happens to me at the moment.

As my boss spread the news that we probably (or may I say solidly confirm) move to our new office at Bandar Sri Permaisuri, Cheras; I still overwhelm with how I managed to grab my dream house. Definitely we'll stay here for maybe another 10 years. And my office? Did I tell you that my husband work in the same area? 5 minutes distance by car perhaps from my new office. I can't stand to put another grinning toward this entire post. We're destined to be in each other's aura. We're going to travel together again. It's the sweetest thing I really look forward to.

I Own A House

Well, I would say it's a super extreme joy to just write the title. Yay!!!!!!!!

Syukur Alhamdulillah for all the gifts, prosperity, rezeki, bless and not forgetting hardship & torn milestones He granted for us. All those mileage gave us an experience and true feeling that God; Allah SWT would never test His slaves to what they can bear. I myself hereby admit we never go the hardest part of life in this world. Ever. Yet. And I am too much grateful for that. Syukran Jazilan Ya Allah...

We finally own our first house. Despite the fact that we actually had an apartment in Rawang. This is totally different. H.O.U.S.E. Landed, gated and double storey.  And it's beautiful. I won't speak so much to why we picked this house. Even it's a sub-sale purchase, we satisfied. I might just let the pictures speak.

This is the front view of the house. The former owner already did some renovation works with the porch. Full tiles, sliding door and the partition area.

Front door entrance. Don't judge the furniture. They don't belong to me for sure.

The living room. It's small but seems comfortable and roomy for our family.

See the combination between wall board with the mirror on the other side. It makes the space spacious and I like the idea so much.

The built up for this house is slightly smaller than usual which is 18x65 instead of 20x70. There was a small room before here and the former owner, brilliantly turned that unpractical room to this small & cozy dining room.

I don't know why I capture this pic. It's only a sink & wash basin where you can see the neighbor's house at the back. Wait until you see the most part that I nearly going crazy to get this house.

Tadaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! It's the white solid-top kitchen cabinet complete with hob,  hood & built-in oven that mesmerized me. I love the color, the combination. Everything. Funny isn't? I only fell in love with the kitchen area that made me want the whole house. And now I can smile to my ear because every pictures you see is mine now. Not officially but will be.

It's quite tricky when you decided to buy a sub-sale house but they are worth more to you personally when you get this kind. I don't need to spend further on renovation as I feel they are enough already. Probably I only require few new things that I still can decide whether I should or I shouldn't. Easy.

I couldn't say more. I'm just a happy person today.
